Checking In

Hi Everyone,
This is just a super quick post to say Happy New Year and let you know I'm still alive and kickin'. Ya'll know how I get when my kids are home from school, add to that, I got a Kindle HD for Christmas so needless to say, I'm hooked. I can't quit reading...I wake in the middle of the night to read for several hours. I can swing it now because the kids are still on break so I don't have to get up early. I'm happy to say though, I'm doing awesome with my eating and seeing great results. I'm seeing a number on the scale that I haven't seen in 6 or 7 years.
Did you make some resolutions? I love making a list of things I'd like to learn or improve on each year. My list is mighty long so it does need a little whittling down but I'm determined to stay motivated and hopeful for what 2013 brings. If you haven't yet, take some time to think of things you'd like to improve on. If you're in a funk (health wise), it's time to snap out of it and start heading in the right direction.
There's no better time than NOW!!!
Trust me on this one, if you don't, and you just keep doing what you've been doing...a month, three months and even a year from now you'll wish you had started today so just

I haven't transferred over to the technological world of reading yet but I think I might have to do it soon...carrying around books is getting old, especially when you are reading more than one! lol

    1. Yes, for those of us who read many books at a time...having a Kindle is a lifesaver! Not to mention those of us who want it right now!! No waiting for a delivery. :)

  5. I totally know how busy it gets with the kids home- they have been home for 3 weeks now :).It's an exciting time of year though and training even harder than last year is my resolution-gotta have goals!

  6. good for you, jess! i'm doing AWFULLY! i quit my step and pump classes b/c my shoulders are so bad and my eating is way bad. i'm hoping to move to cleaner eating THIS week, as well as embrace new exercise methods. can't throw in the towel just because i can't do what i used to... as frustrating as it is.
